Expand a Photo to 9:16, 1:1 or 16:9 Without Cropping

The platform wants vertical. Your photo is horizontal. Cropping throws away half the shot.

Expand to Format grows the frame outward and generates believable scene beyond the edges, so a horizontal photo becomes a full vertical without losing the subject.

How to do it

1. Open the photo editor and drop in your image.
2. In the Recipes panel, pick this look and press Apply.
3. The result saves to your Studio, ready to download or share by link.

Keep your subject off-centre in the original if you want more room to grow on one side.

Open the recipe and run it on your own photo.
